The experience and wellbeing of tenants and visitors is at the heart of Zuidtoren and much has been invested to create a building that helps them thrive. Great consideration has also been given to our ongoing environmental impact. In our mind, both visions are intertwined – each supporting the other.
Together, they enhance the building’s ESG credentials, providing a working environment that tenants and employees look for in a modern office.
Heat pumps were installed throughout Zuidtoren in late 2022 and as a result, energy consumption has reduced significantly. So much so that we have been awarded a BREEAM Excellent accreditation, while our energy performance is now certified as A+++. This is a huge achievement for an existing office building and is symbolic of our commitment to sustainability.
We’re also committed to the Zuidtoren community and have created a bar and restaurant with a large outdoor terrace, where tenants can work informally or relax with colleagues. Our in-house hospitality team also organises regular social events throughout the year.
